About EdgeFlow Company
Novel Wind Energy Technology for Urban Built-Up Areas
Edgeflow was formed on July 1st. 2009. The company is a venture between the architectural firm PLH Architects, the venture capital company SEED Capital and the private persons Henning Solfeldt and Jakob Andersen who is now the CEO of the company. The long term goal of EdgeFlow is to commercialize a new, environmentally AND economically feasible wind turbine.
We at EdgeFlow believe that small turbines placed in urban and built-up areas can be made sustainable – not only from a green standpoint, but also from an economical, social and political standpoint. The company's knowledge basis will in the future enable EdgeFlow to provide a focused and pragmatically based product able to compete on the market for small energy producing technologies.
In September 2010 EdgeFlow was awarded the innovation award at the annual Climate.
